Day 13 - Well what can I say...... Well done Nick! - A really good job and congrats are in order - Finishing and set up done and instrument dusted - we all know this guitar will be well used - good job on getting the tone you wanted - sounds great - hope you get plenty enjoyment from your own handmade guitar!! Day 11 - Fret wire was trimmed, filed, bevelled and polished - final shape done on neck - headstock trimmed and tidied up - final shape done on bridge - final sand done - glued bridge on - things are looking very good. Construction is complete and tomorrow finishing begins although, weather will be rather wet, which could slow us down somewhat.

Day 12 - Today the finish was done - a lot of sanding done between coats (mentioned this specifically for Digby) - rewarding in that the true character and beauty of the wood now comes to the fore. Guitar is ready for polishing and set up, ...so tomorrow we will hear the first sounds! - an early start tomorrow as this is an exciting day ahead for Nick! - PS, please like Guitar Venture, and for those that already have - thanks v much!
